The Model Item
This is the page that you see when you start the app for the first time. It contains just one item – a model.
You can change the model. Select the Model Item and tap the red arrow next to the model image. An image place holder appears. Tap it and choose where would you like to get your new model photo from.
The new photo can be auto or manually cut just as any other item photo. It is useless to set any other item details for the Model item, except “Category”.
An item from “Models” category always appears on top of the list with items in the pages where outfits are created/suggested.
You can create as many Model items as you wish.
Adding a New Item – Photos
Every Item is created with a photo. You cannot create Item-s without photos.
In order to maximize the result of auto cutting the background of your item, we advise that you place it on a uniform, contrasting background.
After you’ve taken your photo, you can use the buttons to rotate it in the right direction and to cut it automatically. If you are not happy with the result of the auto-cut, you can revert the action immediately after you have performed it.
You can use manual cut to further remove the background that was left, if any.
Adding a New Item – Data
An Item can have just one main Category. It can be in different subcategories, but the main Category can be just one. If you don’t assign a Category to your Item, it cannot be considered by the AI Stylist.
The Styles can be as many as you wish.
You can pick up to 5 colors. Use the “+” sign in the popup color picker to add colors. Simply selecting the color in the color wheel won’t add the color to the Item grid.
A tip: it’s best to stay physically next to the Item when you pick its colors. Sometimes photos don’t present the true colors of the object.
You mark dates when you’ve worn your Item by clicking on them in the calendar dialog. Note that when you mark an Outfit as worn on a given date, all Item-s from it are marked as worn on this date as well. You can unselect a date as being worn by clicking on it again.
The Tags property of the Item allows you to add useful data for it. Tip: use it to store words that help you filter and sort the Item as part of a given collection e.g. “wool”, “floral”, “print”, “logo”, “branded” etc.
Creating an Outfit Manually
You create a new outfit by tapping “+NEW OUTFIT” from the Outfits page. When created this way, the new outfit is always blank. The models are at the top of the list with items. The items are filtered and ordered as you’ve set them from the respective page.
You add Item-s to the outfit by double-tapping on them or by drag.
When you add a Model to the Outfit, the model is always resized to take all of the screen. You can further resize it or change its position. The Model always stays at the bottom.
Items that are added by double-tap are auto-arranged on the design area in order not to overlap. You can resize and re-arrange them with gestures.
You can delete an Item from an Outfit by long-pressing on it until the waste bin icon appears. Note that the waste bin icon has to be active e.g. with a yellow border, for the Item to get deleted.
When you tap the “details” label, a panel appears where you can add data for the Outfit. The price is automatically calculated based on the price of all Item-s in this Outfit.
When you mark an Outfit as worn on a given date, all Item-s from it will be marked as worn on this date as well.
You can delete an Outfit by showing the context menu from the icon in the top-right corner of the page. The Share button allows posting it on Instagram or Facebook.
All changes on the Outfit are always saved automatically.
